Welcome to Pink Phoenix Yoga

Looking for the best yoga classes in Bristol, that will give you real benefits minus the bullshit? Take a deep breath and join our friendly tribe at Pink Phoenix Yoga.
We offer you a refreshing alternative to the woo-woo or pseudoscience-infused yoga that you see on most yoga sites. Our no-nonsense approach to yoga ensures you enjoy the process of learning and practising yoga and derive the actual benefits, not imaginary ones.
Inclusivity is one of our founding principles, and we encourage people of all ages, sizes, shapes, abilities, colours, and genders to pursue and enjoy yoga with us.

What we offer
Yoga in its simplest and authentic form. Free flow yoga is where you move from pose to
pose in a smooth flow, while fitness yoga is a challenging, fitness-oriented version of yoga
designed to build your core strength.

Pink Phoenix Yoga is the unique endeavour of Mia, a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher, with more than two decades of professional experience in teaching fitness classes and yoga. She specialises in free-style Yoga, Aqua, and Group Cycle, and has been a qualified Mind/Body coach for over 12 years. Her extensive background and inclusive attitude make her yoga classes relaxed, fun, and chilled.
While yoga has always been a part of Mia’s life, and one she loves, she cringes at the false promises and hocus-pocus most yoga classes claim. These fanciful and unrealistic claims range from inner peace, reversing grey hair, and deep healing, to mastery of life. Mia believes that yoga itself is enough, and doesn’t need any additions to be an amazing experience in itself.
There are also beliefs that yoga is only for young, skinny, and extremely flexible people, who are already fit and strong. And that yoga poses need to be ‘held’ for a certain time to realise the benefits. Mia is here to challenge and change these beliefs.
Pink Phoenix Yoga was born when Mia had a transformational moment at a freestyle yoga class where she learned it was okay to adapt or take support for achieving a pose. She went on to complete a “My Kind of Yoga” course that inspired her to start a no-nonsense, no-bullshit yoga school.
What makes Pink Phoenix Yoga different from others?

Mia is a My Kind of Yoga ambassador and teaches Yoga Flow, where you will flow from pose
to pose. She is an expert at leveraging her coaching skills to motivate you to go beyond what
you thought was possible.
As a Freestyle Fitness Yoga certified instructor, Mia takes you through more physically
challenging classes that are designed to improve your fitness and strength.
Pink Phoenix Yoga is unlike any other yoga class, where the focus is on:

Enjoying learning and practising flow yoga – a free form of yoga where you move through yoga poses in a flow, or fitness yoga, which is a more physically challenging form focused on building core strength

Knowing it is okay to adapt and take support if you need to for a pose

Achieving things that you never thought was possible

Stretching your muscles and relaxing your body

Having fun and meeting some great new people along the way!
Who is Pink Phoenix Yoga for?
Our yoga classes are for everybody and anybody. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or an experienced yogi, you will love our kind of yoga.
Pink Phoenix Yoga is perfect for you regardless of your body shape, size, age, gender, colour, abilities, and flexibility.
Everyone is welcome.
